Algebra 1 Course Outline

Week of March 15 – April 23, 2017

Mr. John R. Wallace, Jr., Senior Administrator

Students:

Welcome back from an unscheduled snow day! We are now making a huge, hopefully uninterrupted, push toward Easter Break in mid-April. During the next several weeks, you will need to show a high level of intensity and organization to have success. I encourage you to stay on top of each lesson through daily study and homework. I know you will have tremendous success as you follow the plan which I have laid out for you.

Now that we completed the Chapter 7 Exam, we will move right into Chapter 8 which will allow us to develop skills to work with polynomials. This will be very important to set you up for success in geometry and Algebra 2.

God has been so good to us.  We have a cool (sometimes way to cold) room with a roof that keeps the rain off our heads. Better than that, we have a peaceful school to meet and study. Even better than that, we have a God that loves each one of us and sent His Son to die so we could be called children of the King. When we are tempted to complain or become frustrated or overwhelmed, we should seek God and see the blessings He has given to us that are so easy look past!

Have a great week! Please let me know how I can help you.

Mr. Wallace
